180 kilometres separate Nivelles from Luxembourg City. The Grand Duchy is a modest but dense market where heavy industry remains well represented: steelmaking around Esch-sur-Alzette, Differdange and Belval, structural steelwork, logistics and a very active construction sector.

The ITM — Inspection du travail et des mines — is the competent authority for occupational safety and health, and plays a part in the regime applying to plant and equipment. It is the regulator your teams already deal with.
Beyond that the standards framework is European and identical to ours: Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) for pressure equipment, EN 13445 and EN 13480 as harmonised standards, EN 1090 for the execution of steel structures, EN ISO 9712 for personnel certification.
Luxembourg has no national accreditation body on the scale of BELAC or DAkkS: OLAS fills that role and belongs to the same European mutual recognition network. A Belgian accreditation is therefore perfectly legible there.

Radiography stays in Belgium
As everywhere, the licence to use ionising radiation sources is national. Ours is Belgian, issued by FANC-AFCN.
Radiography therefore happens at our end: on site in Belgium, or in our bunker at Nivelles, to which components can be brought from the Grand Duchy. The other methods are performed at your Luxembourg installations.
